What General Pest Control Covers

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to General Pest Control work that Hawaii Pest Solutions agrees to provide at the service address. Depending on the written estimate or service plan, work may include inspection of accessible areas, treatment for covered common pests, and practical recommendations to reduce pest access or conditions that attract pests.

The estimate or service record identifies the pests, locations, and tasks included. Excluded pests, inaccessible areas, repairs, sanitation work, and services requiring specialized equipment are not included unless separately approved in writing.

Pesticides are used only as permitted by their labeling and directions under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Work is subject to Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 149A, Hawaii Administrative Rules Chapter 4-66, and applicable commercial applicator licensing and certification requirements.

Hawaii Department of Agriculture Pesticides Branch guidance applies where relevant. Pesticide waste is handled under applicable rules, including RCRA requirements when applicable.

We provide chemical labels or safety data sheets as required by the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard.

Appointments, Changes, and Cancellations

Appointments are arranged with the customer using the contact details provided and are subject to technician availability, access, and weather or other conditions that affect safe service. Please provide accurate entry instructions and make sure an adult authorized to approve the work can address questions about the service.

If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as possible, preferably before the scheduled visit. Any cancellation fee or other charge will apply only if it was disclosed and agreed to before booking.

The technician will perform only the work described in the accepted estimate or service plan. If inspection shows that the requested work needs a different treatment, additional areas, or a changed scope, we will explain the proposed change and its cost before proceeding.

You may decline the additional work; the original service may still be completed if it remains suitable and safe. Delays or rescheduling may occur if access is unavailable or conditions make treatment inappropriate. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of scheduling changes.

Estimates, Charges, and Payment

Before work begins, Hawaii Pest Solutions will provide an estimate or other written description of the proposed service and its charge. An estimate is based on the information available at the time and may need revision if an inspection reveals different pest activity, site conditions, or requested work.

We will explain any change and obtain your approval before performing work outside the agreed scope. No price or additional service is implied unless it appears in the estimate, service record, or a later written approval.

Payment is due as stated in the estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Please review those documents for accepted payment methods and any applicable due date.

If the documents do not state a due date, contact us before the appointment to confirm payment arrangements. You are responsible for charges for work you approved and that was performed, subject to applicable law and the written agreement.

If you have a question about an invoice, contact us promptly and identify the service date and charge so we can review it.

Written Terms for Service Coverage

Hawaii Pest Solutions does not promise that a treatment will prevent every future pest sighting or eliminate pests permanently. Results depend on factors such as pest type, property conditions, access, sanitation, and activity outside treated areas.

Any follow-up visit, retreatment, or workmanship coverage applies only when its terms are stated in writing for the service provided. The written document will identify the covered pest or work, any time period, and steps the customer must take to qualify.

Without written coverage, no specific warranty duration or free return service is included in these terms. Coverage may not apply where the customer denies access, changes or interferes with treated areas, does not follow preparation or safety instructions, or where the issue arises from a different pest or condition than the agreed service addressed.

This section does not remove rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Contact us if you are unsure whether a particular service includes follow-up coverage; we will check the estimate or service record.

Responsibility for Service-Related Losses

To the extent allowed by law, Hawaii Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits limiting responsibility, including for liability that cannot legally be waived. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, pest activity outside the agreed treatment area, or loss caused by a customer’s failure to follow written preparation, access, or safety instructions, where applicable law permits these limits.

Pesticides must be handled and applied according to product labeling and directions under FIFRA and applicable Hawaii requirements, including HRS Chapter 149A and HAR Chapter 4-66. Applicators must meet applicable Hawaii licensing and certification rules.

Pesticide waste is managed under applicable requirements, including RCRA where relevant. Chemical labels and safety data sheets are provided and handled under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard as applicable.

Nothing in these terms authorizes work contrary to those requirements or limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

Questions About These Terms

For questions about an estimate, service, or these terms, contact Hawaii Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@hawaiipestsolutions.top. Written correspondence may be sent to First Hawaiian Center, 999 Bishop St, Honolulu, HI.

Please include your service address and appointment or invoice details when available so we can locate the right record. Contact us promptly if you believe a term does not match what was agreed for your service.

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. The version in effect when you approve a service governs that work unless you and Hawaii Pest Solutions agree otherwise in writing or applicable law requires a different result.

For ongoing services, we will communicate material updates through a reasonable method, such as email or a written notice, and identify when the update takes effect. A change will not retroactively alter completed work.

If you do not agree with an update affecting future service, contact us before the next appointment to discuss your options.
